Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. ~ Heb 12:2

Board Games!

The last two weekends we’ve had a few people over to play games.  I love playing games, but if it’s too competitive I turn into a not-so-nice person.  Just ask my BFF’s hubby. There was an incident years ago while playing Spoons that involved fingernails and blood.  That’s all I’m saying….

*AHEM*

Anyway, these games were all fun, no violence!  And I’m sure I’m late to the game (pardon the pun!) on this one, but Apples to Apples is SO FUN!  Not sure how long it’s been out but my first time playing was last weekend.  There were many many laughs and it was funny to see how each “judge” picked the winner.

Another game we played was iMAgiNIFF….  Again SO FUN and again, lots of laughs!  It was funny to see how many of the cards went perfectly with the people’s names that were picked.

I want to slowly build our game collection but would love some reader input from ya’ll.  Tell me your favorite game, why you like it and/or why you think I would like it.

I have some Amazon giftcodes I can spend via Swagbucks, so help me spend them!

We don't really play many board games, but my grandmother is always playing cards. Rook, Hand & Foot, or Chicken Foot with Dominos are quite the staple at Christmas get togethers. The last "board game" that we played was the Price is Right DVD game.

Spoons used to be considered a contact sport in our house, especially if the grandfathers played. Not too many people know about it. We recently had game night with Battle of the Sexes and it was hilarious!
